"Administrative assistance on the ground and supervision" comprise

Representation and liaison with local authorities or any other person, disbursements on behalf of the user, supplying premises for the latter's representatives.

Overseeing loading, messages and telecommunications.

Processing, storing, handling and paperwork for elements to be loaded onboard.

Any other supervisory service before, during or after the flight, and any other administrative service requested by the user.

"Passenger" assistance comprises

Any form of assistance to passengers who are departing, arriving, in transit or in between connecting flights, notably the inspection of tickets and travel documents, checking-in luggage and transporting the latter to the sorting systems.

"Baggage" assistance comprises

Processing luggage in the sorting area, sorting it, preparing it for departure, loading luggage onto and unloading it from the systems that take it from the aircraft to the sorting area and vice versa, and transporting luggage from the sorting area to the distribution area.

"Cargo and Mail" assistance comprises

For cargo (whether for export or import or in transit): the physical handling of cargo, the processing of relevant documents, customs formalities and any provisional measures agreed upon between the parties or required by circumstances.

For mail (whether arriving or departing): the physical handling of mail, the processing of relevant documents and any provisional measures agreed upon between the parties or required by circumstances.

"Runway operations" assistance comprises

Guiding the aircraft on arrival and departure (*).

Assisting the aircraft to park and providing the means for it to do so (*).

Communications between the aircraft and the service provider on the runway (*).

Loading and unloading the aircraft, including supplying and applying the necessary means, transporting the crew and passengers between the aircraft and the terminal building, transporting luggage between the aircraft and the terminal building.

Assisting the aircraft to start up and supplying the means for it to do so.

Moving the aircraft on departure and arrival, supplying and applying the relevant means.

Transporting food and beverages to the aircraft, loading them into the aircraft and unloading them from the aircraft.

(*) In so far as these services are not provided by the air traffic department.

"Aircraft cleaning and servicing" assistance comprises

Cleaning the interior and the exterior of the aircraft, servicing the toilets, servicing the water supply.

Servicing the air conditioning and the heating in the cabin, removing snow and ice from the aircraft, de-icing the aircraft.

Setting up the cabin using cabin equipment, storing such equipment.

"Fuel and oil" assistance comprises

Organising and providing fuelling and defuelling services, including storage, quality control and verification of quantities delivered.

Filling up on oil and other liquid ingredients.

"Aircraft maintenance" assistance comprises

Standard operations carried out before the flight.

Specific operations requested by the user.

Supplying and managing maintenance equipment and spare parts.

Requesting or reserving a parking bay and/or hangar in which to perform maintenance work.

"Air operations and crew administration" assistance comprises

Preparing the flight at the departure airport or in any other place.

In-flight assistance, including, if necessary, changing the itinerary during the flight.

Post-flight services.

Crew administration.

 

"Ground transport" assistance comprises

The organisation and provision of transport for passengers, crew, luggage, cargo and mail between the different terminal buildings of the same airport, but excluding any transport between the aircraft and any other point within the perimeter of the same airport.

All specific transport requested by the user.

 

"Catering" assistance comprises

Liaising with suppliers, administration.

Storing food, beverages and the accessories needed to prepare them.

Cleaning the accessories.

Preparing and delivering equipment and foodstuffs.
